Symptomatic relief in the treatment of productive cough associated with respiratory disorders e.g. acute bronchitis, pneumonia, asthmatic bronchitis, etc.

  • Adults & children >12 years: 10ml TDS
  • 6-12 years: 5ml TDS
  • 2-5 years: 2.5ml TDS
  • Not recommended for <2years

Each 5ml contains:

  • salbutamol 2mg, 1mg
  • bromhexine 4mg, 2mg
  • guaifenesin 100mg, 50mg
  • menthol 1mg, 0.5mg

Bromhexine- Mucolytic/ expectorant agent. Increases sputum volume and viscosity of bronchial secretions in chronic bronchitis patients.

Guaifenesin- Expectorant. Acts by irritating the gastric mucosa and subsequently stimulating respiratory tract secretions. This increase in fluid increases the volume and decreases the viscosity of bronchial secretions.

Menthol- Relieves symptoms of bronchitis, sinusitis, etc.

Salbutamol – Direct-acting sympathomimetic agent with b2-receptor selectivity. Act by bronchodilating or widening the airway.
