- Lymphogranuloma venereum :500 mg QID *21/7
- Gastroparesis(Off-label): 250-500 mg TDS daily before meals
- Granuloma Inguinale (Off-label): 500 mg QID *21/7
- Chancroid (Off-label): 500 mg TDS *7/7

- Best absorbed on an empty stomach therefore taken at the start of a meal.
- Take with food or milk if nausea occurs.
Macrolide.
It inhibits protein synthesis by binding to 50S ribosomal subunits of susceptible micro-organisms. It does not affect nucleic acid synthesis.
