- Symptomatic relief of allergic conditions e.g. hay fever, rhinitis, urticaria, angioedema, allergic conjunctivitis.
- Symptomatic relief of coughs and common cold
- Adults: 4mg every 4-6 hours. Max 24mg (6 tablets)
- 6-11 years: 2mg every 4-6 hours. Max 12mg
- 2-5 years: 2.5ml every 4-6 hours. Max 6mg (15ml)
- 1-2 years: 2.5ml BD. Max 2mg (5ml)
Not recommended for children < 1 year.

H1 receptor antagonist.
It is a competitive inhibitor of H1 receptor on effector cells. It also has anticholinergic effects.
