- Tinea corporis & Tinea cruris:
- PO 500mg OD *2-4 weeks
- Tinea capitis:
- PO 500mg OD * 4-6 weeks
- Tinea pedis/ Athlete’s foot:
- PO 1g OD/BD *4-8 weeks
- Onychomycosis:
- Fingernails: PO 1g OD/BD *4/12
- Toenails: PO 1g OD/BD *4/12
Tablet: 125mg, 250mg, 500mg
- Best taken with a high fat meal.
- Avoid excess exposure to sunlight.
- Discontinue in case of granulocytopenia.
Systemic antifungal.
It disrupts the structure of the cell’s mitotic spindle through interaction with polymerized microtubules, thereby arresting the metaphase of cell division.
