- Helicobacter pylori (pylori) eradication:
- 1 kit per day divided BD *7-14 days
- Then 1 month treatment with a suitable antacid
- Each kit contains 2 tablets each of: 250mg/30mg/500mg
- To be taken 30 min before meals
Clarithromycin: Macrolide. It reversibly binds to the 50S ribosomal subunit of susceptible organisms and inhibits RNA-dependent protein synthesis by stimulating dissociation of peptidyl t-RNA from ribosomes, thereby inhibiting bacterial growth.
Lansoprazole: Proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It binds to H+/K+-exchanging ATPase (proton pump) in gastric parietal cells, blocking acid secretion
Tinidazole: Antiprotozoal. It inhibits protozoal DNA synthesis by damage of the DNA strands inhibiting their nucleic acid synthesis.
