Tablet:
- Aceclofenac: 100mg, 200mg
- Thiocolchicoside: 4mg, 8mg, 16mg
- To be taken after meals
- Should NOT be given to children <18 years
Aceclofenac: NSAID; It works by blocking the effect of cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes that make chemical prostaglandins at sites of injury or injury causing pain, swelling, and inflammation.
Thiocolchicoside: Muscle relaxant; a semi-synthetic derivative of the naturally occurring compound, colchicoside with a relaxant effect on skeletal muscle through interaction with both GABA & strychnine-sensitive glycine receptors.
