Diloxanide furoate is a luminal amoebicidal acting on amoebic cyst and trophozoite within the lumen of the bowel.
Metronidazole: tissue amoebicidal. It acts on the parasite in the intestinal wall or other organs by binding to the bacterial DNA preventing its multiplication.
