- Complicated UTI:
- 400mg BD * 7-10 days
- Uncomplicated UTI:
- 400mg BD *3/7
- Chronic relapsing UTI:
- 400 mg BD * 12/52; reduced to 400 mg OD, if adequate suppression within first 4 weeks
- Chronic prostatis:
- 400mg BD *28/7
- Gonorrhea:
- 800mg STAT

To be taken with meals.

It blocks DNA gyrase enzyme responsible for production and repair of bacterial DNA leading to bacteria death.
